“The most profound beauty emerges from the ashes of destruction” 



This is an idea of naturality in it’s purest from.Life, death, rebirth. We have been put on this earth to follow the endless rotation of ending and reinventing one’s true identity. Sometimes we let our emotions run wild causing chaos and sometimes we subdue them or even let them go. Both of these scenarios lead to reincarnation of the human image.

This avant-garde beauty editorial highlights the idea that true beauty can rise from even the darkest moments. The looks capture transformation through dramatic contrasts, intense tones, textures and radiant highlights representing renewal.

The first look captures the Phoenix with it’s elements of intense resurrection and reinvention. The vision starts with representing the new beginning after rebirth, slowly letting the scorching Phoenix run wild and paint around the face and hair with its red flames and feathers. The end result of its release is this amplified contrast and portrayal of one’s newly rebuilt identity.

 

























Look two symbolises that same transformation but through an entirely different process. 

Achieving chaos through self-control. 

Calamity keeps raging inside and this is shown through the red eyes and sculpted, almost alive hair, while the rest of the face is painted in bold colours and shapes. 

The colours gently “bleed” from the inside, painting the skin into a daydream of serenity. 

This distracts us or in some cases attracts us even more to the hidden darkness. 















Through beauty we manifest a version of us that comes from within and could be so bizarre to the human eye, but only in this state of self expression we find our most natural image. 

The identity of an individual created by both releasing chaos or subduing it. Our true self? Or a fake one perhaps - it is only natural. 

We have put ourselves in imaginary cages, stuck in our chaos,not knowing what to do with it. It is time to break free and fly into the colourful worlds within us. It’s time to see our beauty in its’ endless shapes and textures and the ways it manifests through our emotions...
